The place, Miskatonic University, the time, April of 1922, the adventure, to seek out signs of old life on an island in North Carolina. It has been roughly four months since the last letter was received from an archaeological expedition that was working on what they thought was an important Indian anthropological excursion. Now Miskatonic U is assembling another team to head to the site, in hopes of determining what happened and, more importantly, to see if any of the research is salvageable.
